Shiseido Synchro Skin

I like the foundation. It is not as good as the lifting foundation which was discontinued, the lifting foundation was slightly thicker and truly lifted my skin. This one is the right color for my skin, as I-40 was too dark and I-20 was too light, and there was nothing in between. Overall really good product, I have been waiting for it for a long time.

Color shade changed

Not same shade as year before a lot more yellow pigment instead of maple . Looks not as natural as other shade but still feels good on skin .

New formula

I’ve used this foundation for years and they have recently changed the formula. It’s now a lot thicker which isn’t really a good thing for me. It’s more effort to put on and have it look nice. It does last through heat and sweat though. I also like that it still has sunscreen that my sensitive skin can wear.

Thoughts

Consistency thick so hydrated skin or a primer is a must to be able to blend well. Sinks into the skin beautifully. Doesn't last the whole day. Starts breaking down after 5 hours and requires retouch.
